Cant really follow the movie. Maybe a revision of 'The curse of the black pearl' would have helped. I guess the best pattern for watching such movies is to go for a marathon session i.e watch all sequels at one go. I did something similar for LOTR and it kind of helped, though quite draining in the end of the day.
So, guess it makes sense to wait for the Pirates 3 and get a dvd and watch all 3 at one go.

All that the Director / Producers want is for the audience to come back for the 3rd part...just like the Matrix trilogy....
Dead Man's Chest is absolutely not great...u jus can't end a film like this...if it starts u have to have an end....
Can't agree more..afterall this is no TV serial..
let s aim @ the marathon.. that way, we will hardly miss any sub-plots as well ..
This is one reason why I refuse to watch sequels.
No director knows that quitting while ahead is not a bad idea !
